My Story
Lesson Plans Out, Ledgers In
I didn’t always plan to be a bookkeeper. For years, I was a teacher—wrangling classrooms full of students, juggling endless details, and learning how to explain even the most complicated topics in a way that actually made sense. (If you’ve ever tried to keep a room of 7-year-olds focused, you know that’s a skill!)

But here’s the thing: teaching taught me more than just patience. It taught me organization, attention to detail, and how to turn confusing information into something clear and useful. And those are the exact skills that make bookkeeping my happy place.

I started my bookkeeping business because I wanted to help business owners feel the same relief my students felt when the “lightbulb” finally went on. Numbers don’t have to be stressful or overwhelming—I take care of the details, explain things simply, and give you the clarity you need to grow your business (without the math headaches).

So why the switch from teaching? I loved the classroom, but I was ready for a new chapter—one where I could still help people succeed, but in a way that gave me more flexibility and let me build something of my own.

Now, instead of lesson plans and grading papers, I get to help business owners like you get their time back, make sense of their numbers, and actually enjoy some peace of mind. And honestly? I think I traded up. Let’s give your numbers a gold star!
